Knapp Haven is a rural community nursing home that has been expanded over the years with little thought or expense put into the overall exterior look. Dennis Batty & Associates was hired to give the interior a facelift as well as create some strong exterior design features and a proper functioning main entrance. The two phase expansion and remodel project currently being undertaken expands the main dining room and replaces the existing undersized kitchen with a complete new state of the art commercial food service area. A new staff lounge, resident lounge, conference room, and garage are also part of phase one as is the extensive remodeling of existing corridors and restrooms. The second phase will put a new main entrance, lobby, administrative offices, and conference room on the front of the building giving it a completely new look.
