The congregation at RLC felt there was a need to transform their facility into a place that was more enabled to aid in reaching, loving and changing their surrounding community. Several years prior to this project the church had purchased an existing 59,000 square foot open-plan office building and had made minimal changes to it to adapt it to their needs. 14 years later the building interior needed a new creative look. A large new lobby, café, welcome center, fireplace and restrooms were created using the existing space. Improved internal circulation, new offices and renovation of the sanctuary were also part of the project. Masterplanning was also done for renovation of the balance of the building and for the design of a new worship center.
