In fulfilling their mission to lead people to real life and equip them to successfully live it, the church body at Real Life Church wanted a sanctuary addition to their existing 1960 vintage building that had impact.
For a group that has a plan to reach this current generation with a ‘real world’ approach, a contemporary worship space had to be designed with a stepped floor and moveable seating that could be converted from a worship space to a dinner theater. The space was also designed with a full theatrical stage and lighting as well as controlled natural lighting. Careful attention was given to the design of the acoustics with the implementation of acoustical douds in the ceiling.
